Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers ( Government of India ) plans to implement “One Nation One Fertiliser” under “PRADHANMANTRI BHARTIYA JAN-UREA PARIJONA”, wherein all fertiliser manufacturers and importers will be required to sell their products under a single ‘Bharat’ brand.
The Government of India incurred around 90 per cent subsidy on urea. Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers had meeting with industry leaders, on 16th July 2022. Government may launch “One Nation One Fertiliser” from 15th August 2022. Sources confirmed that initially, it may be implemented on imported urea.
Government is also planning to serve farmers through the capacity building of retailers at village, mandi, tehsil and district level and open farmer service center called “Pradhan Mantri Kissan Kalyan Kendra” at village level, “Pradhan Mantri Kissan Suvidha Kendra”. at tehsil level and “Pradhan Mantri Kissan Samridhi Kendra” at district level.
This is very good initiative of modi government to serve farmers of the nation at their door step through the centre and to creating awareness for the best agricultural practices. Farmers will get all sort of facilities in this centre.
