In January 2023, the Department of Fertilizers, Ministry of Fertilizers and Chemicals, India, acknowledged the  average international price of fertilisers and announced the trend for the previous year. Urea's (FOB) price fell from USD 897/MT in Jan 2022 to USD 500/MT in Jan 2023, a loss of roughly 44.26%. The price of DAP (CFR) fell by around 26.28%,from USD 921/MT in Jan 2022 to USD 679/MT in Jan 2023. MOP (CFR) has risen in price from USD 445/MT in Jan 2022 to USD 590/MT in Jan 2023, an increase of roughly 32.58%. The cost of phosphoric acid (CFR) has dropped from USD 1330/MT in Jan 2022 to USD 1175/MT in Jan 2023, a  drop of roughly 11.65%. The cost of rock phosphate (CFR) grew by around 68.06%.from USD 144/MT in Jan 22 to USD 242/MT in Jan 23. Ammonia (CFR) is now about 17.42% cheaper than it was in USD  Ammonia (CFR) has a price that has dropped from USD 1125/MT in Jan 2022 to USD 929/MT in Jan 2023, a  17.42% decline. Sulfur's (CFR) price fell from USD 339/MT in January 2022 to USD 161/MT in January 2023, a decline of around 52.51%. Source : DOF
