India’s Fertilizer Supply Plan for May 2025: Detailed State-Wise and Company-Wise Approvals Announced by the Department of Fertilisers

The Department of Fertilisers, operating under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers, Government of India, has released the approved Fertiliser Supply Plan for May 2025. This comprehensive plan outlines allocations on both a state-wise and company-wise basis. Designed to ensure a stable and sufficient fertilizer supply across the country, the initiative is aimed at supporting Indian farmers and bolstering agricultural productivity and sustainability.

The Ministry’s proactive approval of the Fertiliser Supply Plan for April 2025 underscores its strong commitment to maintaining a seamless and uninterrupted agricultural supply chain. By securing timely fertilizer distribution, this move is set to enhance sector productivity and reinforce India’s long-term food security objectives.

As part of its forward-looking strategy, the Department has also included allocations for innovative nutrient solutions—most notably, 1.11 million liters of Nano DAP (liquid) assigned to IFFCO and 0.785 million liters to CIL, marking a significant step toward sustainable and efficient farming practices.
