The Ortho Phosphoric Acid (Quality Control) Second Amendment Order, 2024 shall come into force on 26th July 2024 the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
In the Ortho Phosphoric Acid (Quality Control) Order, 2021, after the table, the following proviso shall be
inserted, namely: “Provided that, nothing in this Order shall apply to the Ortho Phosphoric Acid when used as raw material in production of fertilizers.”
The Ortho Phosphoric Acid (Quality Control) Order, 2021 was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary,
Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 2335(E), dated the 15th June, 2021 and subsequently
amended vide notification numbers S.O. 4914(E), dated the 29th November, 2021, S.O. 2225(E), dated the
13th May, 2022 and S.O. 1709(E), dated the 13th April, 2024.
