As February 2024 unfolds, the Indian government emerges as a steadfast champion of agricultural prosperity, allocating a remarkable 94% of the fertiliser subsidy budget, totaling an impressive INR 1,80,707 Crore, with a significant portion directed towards urea subsidies at INR 120,610 Crore, constituting 91% of the urea subsidy budget. Notably, P&K fertiliser subsidies surge to INR 65,054 Crore, exceeding expectations at 108% of the total P&K subsidy budget.
