As of June 2023, the Indian government has used nearly 26% of the fertiliser subsidy budget, spending a total of INR 1,75,100 Crore. Out of this amount, about INR 30,201 Crore has been utilized for urea subsidies, which is almost 23% of the urea subsidy budget. Additionally, INR 16,035 Crores have been allocated to P&K subsidies, accounting for around 36% of the total P&K fertiliser subsidy budget.
