Agricultural crop production increased by 7.94 Mn tons and around by 2.67% over 2019-20, as per 3rd advance estimate of agricultural crops released by Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer Welfare India.
Figure shows that there is no impact of covid 19 and lock-down on agricultural crop production and other related agri input and fertilizer industry. Data of fertilizer demands and sales in 2020-21 are also encouraging.
Production of Rice increased by 8.02%, Wheat by 8.29%, Coarse Cereals by 4%, Pulses 16.62%, Oil Seeds by 10.08%, Sugarcane 8.49% and Cotton crop production by 14.39%.
